The NEAR and FAR cards were printed by Cumbersome Multiples Press on a 1928 Chandler & Price letterpress using antique wooden type. PonyXpress writers wrote a response to the word on the cover. The cards were passed to the next writers and they used the prompt to write on the back.

Before you die, you see the ring …
O-rings, glow rings, sucker pop rings, and “bling” rings,
these are a few of my favorite things.
The hills are alive with the sound of my musing…
One right, two ring, three ring, four,
I trip over a ring painted on the court.
Rings around my wrist, rings about my eyes,
I wring out my laundry and leave it to dry. | YC
