Father's far from home
Lonely heart
Feels the pain
He wakes up all alone
Sadness
Sorrow
And pain again ...

Little boy
Disguised as man
The lonely streets his home
Teary eyes
Long since gone
Now tough he stands alone
Anger
Rage
And pain again ...
Tell me then,
When love?

Young girl - young man nature’s plan
Let’s build a happy home
Broken hearts
Shattered dreams
All's lost he's now alone
Stolid
Numb
And pain again ...
Tell me now,
When love?

Lovely lady
Handsome man
A life he's never known
Caring soul
Sees the pain
Claims him as her own
Tires soon
Open wounds
Feels the pain again ...
Oh, tell me please,
When love?

Aging man
Lonely child
A prison now his home
Cold dark cell
Sleepless night
He wakes up all alone
Pain again ...
Pen in hand
