Dearest Daughter,
I hope that this letter finds you in the best of health and happiness.
I'm writing to you today because I wanted to share some of my thoughts and feelings with you.
I'll begin by saying I love you. I want you to know that that there is no one in this world that has my heart the way that you do.
From the first time I laid my eyes on you, your head full of black hair and your almond shaped eyes, I loved you. Yes, I have love for others, but you have the purest and most unconditional love I have to give.
I've always loved you, even when my actions showed otherwise. I'll be honest, I thought that I had time to have my fun before you knew what I was doing was wrong. I know now that I was mistaken.
I know that I've made choices that have hurt, harmed, and saddened you. I promise you that I'll spend the rest of my life atoning for my poor choices.
I hope that you can forgive me for my wrongs. I want nothing more than to be your dad, a person who supports, listens, understands, and is a positive force in your life.
I've watched you grow up from afar and I'm so proud of the young Iil' miss that you're growing into.
I hope that we can learn about each other, and together we can build on our bond as father and daughter.
In closing, I hope that you can feel the love and joy you bring into my life. I love you. Take care of yourself, be safe, and know that you are loved and adored by many.
Love, Daddy
