Teenage me,
I know who you are because you are me and I am you. I want you to know you are important no matter what those adults say. You have what it takes to become that person you dream to be … as long as you can say “no!” to those older “friends” who are already on the path of destruction. They only want you to share their misery. So just believe in who you are, because you are that person. Take the time to practice success and train your body to become who you see yourself becoming. Because if you don’t and you give in to those “friends” we will become who I am today, sitting in prison talking to others on how we could have changed ourselves. In this fourth prison set, we are just now getting it right. I know — it’s sad! Look at us when we are 38 years old: no house, broke family, and alone. This all can be changed by you, by us. Now! But only if we can say “no” to those miserable “friends” who are not the “friends” they say they are, because we have the qualities it takes to succeed. I know this because I am you and you are me.
