Nikko,
What makes me strong is the blood that flows through my body! The knowledge and wisdom my elders have passed down to me over the last thirty-one years of my young life has taught me that I come from a fierce warrior bloodline, Hunkpapa Lakota, Backfeet, and Cherokee. This keeps my head held high, back held straight, and my feet continuing to walk this Red Road.
Always remember that no matter your heritage, you come from a warrior society and that you should be proud of who you are and take strength from that. Never let anything bring you down, learn by watching others succeed and fail, there's much wisdom and lessons you can take from both aspects and apply to yourself, so you can be the best, most strongest version of your self.
This doesn't happen overnight so hold on to your dreams, ambitions, goals, and thoughts and strive for all your best self. At times it can seem hard but just keep faith and stay strong because you can be anyone you want and do whatever you put your mind to.
These are all the things I did and still do to stay walking the path I chose, which is the Red Road. I work out six days a week, soak up as much knowledge as possible, and never lose hope, your wildest dreams are right around the corner as long as you are willing to put it down for what you want and need. Being strong is what is in your heritage and history — it's in our blood. Forever keep your head up towards the future, don't worry about the past it can't be changed, only your future. Til the day after forever, stay strong! | HB
