Together under the midnight stars,
Away from the city light.
The quiet makes the world seem so far,
Surrounded by nature, wrapped in night.
I watch the moonbeams dance upon your skin,
The breeze tangling up your hair.
Playing at a game we both win,
Reveling in spoils gladly we shared.
Your kisses leave wildfire upon my lips,
The shine of your eyes a lighting your face.
You move in closer and my stomach flips,
Your gentle caresses, making my heart race.
Pulling each other closer within our arms,
The heat of our passion setting the air on fire.
We kiss frantically as our blood warms,
Lust in a world of blazing desire.
An alarm blares and the silence shatters,
The dreams in which we meet.
Back again in a living where nothing matters,
Once again a living picture of defeat.
Wishing again that we shared a bed,
That we could share a real life,
That I could show you what lays in my head,
That I could be your husband and you my wife. | MDKS
