In this darkness,
I blindly search for meaning.
Seeking knowledge among lessons to be learned.
As I approach this unknown thing,
the darkness begs for wont of light …
casting shadows upon monotonic gray matter,
exposing ideas long laid dormant.
Illuminating tear drops fall like gentle rain
Upon myriad shards of broken dreams~
reflecting~
casting forth rainbows of hope from within this void.
At last, I find what was lost …
balance to a heavy burdened life,
a life spent trapped in a web of deceit.
Light lost in darkness.
Darkness lost in light,
tangled in a single gloomy moment.
I pull a thread.
I feel a connection.
A light comes to life,
