“A good person dyes events with his own color … and turn to whatever happens to his own benefit.”
— Seneca
Coming to prison and learning how to nurture humility and understanding that’s speaking the truth about my generational trauma and the pain I have endured is my weight carry and use my platform to share my adversarial and post-traumatic growth.
As I am learning to embody the trait of expressing my authentic journaling, I am creating opportunities for others, as well as designing my own system of care through my motivational stories. I hope to create a movement of inspirational healing for others in the world — especially those men and women who may be consumed by their own mental barriers or immediate prison walls.
I am humbled that I have been strategically picked by a much greater force to be a physical example of despair and destiny. My unique but reliable journey in life brings diversity and courage into leadership. I now walk, talk and breathe and represent that transformation that is within every individual’s reach. No matter how broken and haunted your background may be!
